Is Renuka Choudhry in her senses??!!

Happened to read the article about Renuka Choudhry mooting the idea of penalizing fathers or minor drivers.
IS SHE MAD??!!
Mothers are supposed to care more for children (so much so that even in the case of a divorce, they are entitled to keep the child) but when an offence is committed, the father is penalized!!
I can't understand what the mothers are doing when their kids are committing offences.
And so much for the concept of "EQUALITY" that women want. Much like "EQUALITY with 33% RESERVATION!"
She seems to be discharging her duties as Minister of Women and Childcare, or whatever it is, with utmost dedication that she's even getting so obviously partial. Its really unfortunate that ppl in such' posts' are coming up with 'brianwaves' like these.
GOD HELP US!

true.. nowadays ladies are getting much more than necessary. if a guy sits in a ladies' seat, then all the ladies gang up n cause nothing short of a ruckus in the bus spamming all kinds of "sanskrit" words at men in general. the same, if a lady comes n sits at the back of the bus then no one's allowed to say a thing.. more so men determinedly avoid sitting next to that lady, thereby wasting one seat!! :o btw, Hi kulla!!

Eh kulla! Even I'll say that your rant is a case of the crudest male chauvinism. Yeah true women are given the soft corner, what with the 33%. However, its always the dad's job to teach children how to drive. Also, men are better drivers because of better reflexes, making them better qualified as well. So obviously the minor driver is a dad-responsibility. And as for the ladies seat thing, it is the least that a chivalrous man will do; spare about a quarter of the seats for women, who are generally a minortiy in bus travel to such an extent that all seats are filled by men before any of them can make it inside. Also, there is the issue of men harrasing women on crowded busses. Have you ever given that a thought?
